Infant Care
Infant Care

CFS is blessed to have the services of ten special families in the Birmingham and Huntsville communities. These special families see it as their personal ministry to care for babies while they are awaiting adoptive placement, or return to their biological families.
Children stay in care for different periods of time, depending on the circumstances of the case. During their time in care, the infant is given the best of care, sees the pediatrician on a regular basis, and the social worker visits often to see how the family is doing. While the infant is in care, these families are meeting the infant’s daily needs for love, attention and stimulation.
These families love providing this service and are great at what they do. All of them have gone through state required training programs; all are certified in Infant CPR along with Infant First Aid. And all have gone through a thorough evaluation by the agency staff.
