Summit VII-Can you Hear Me?

Description: Target Audience: Professionals (social workers, nurses, counselors, home visitors) working with children, families and adults in crisis
Expected Attendance: 175

Cost: Attendees $60.00 per person includes lunch
Profit Exhibitors $60.00 includes ONE lunch
Non-Profit Exhibitors $20.00 per person if you want lunch

Objectives: The objectives of Summit VII are to: 1) Assist the professional to gain a greater understanding of various aspects of working with clients immediately following a disaster as well as months after. 2) Develop a greater understanding of working with specific populations such as children who have been abused; children with disabilities, individuals involved in natural or man-made disasters; and 3) develop a variety of techniques they can use to help as they provide immediate and long-term assistance to individuals impacted by natural or man-made disasters.
